About Wordleness
A quick overview — expanded details coming soon.
What It Is
A daily 5‑letter noun puzzle. Use tile feedback to deduce the hidden word within six tries.
How It Works
Enter a 5‑letter English noun. Tile colors show correct letters/positions. In the default Unique mode all letters are distinct; in Double mode letters may repeat.
Game Modes
All letters in the target word are unique. Classic deduction, ideal for clean letter elimination.
Letters may repeat (e.g., “apple”). Requires careful tracking of letter counts and positions.
You can switch between modes directly on the game screen.
Play Styles
- Find the hidden 5-letter noun in up to 6 attempts.
- Tile feedback: green = correct position, yellow = present, gray = absent.
- Works with both Unique and Double letter modes.
- Aim to avoid guessing the word for as many attempts as possible.
- Colors: red = locked correct position, yellow = must include, gray = forbidden globally.
- No attempt limit; a new input row appears after each guess.
- Keyboard blocks gray letters; “Higher is better” on the summary.
- Works with both Unique and Double letter modes.
Switch styles on the game screen (Classic or À rebours). Results are saved to your profile when logged in.
Strategy Tips
- Start with diversified letters.
